SeSDERMA Laboratories, an international cosmeceuticals company, recently introduced a new product for the non-injectable filler market at the October meeting of the International Congress of Aesthetics. Dr. Gabriel Serrano, founder of SeSDERMA Laboratories, worked with Dr. Gerard Robert of Lyon, France, to develop FillDerma. SeSDERMA Laboratories was the first European laboratory to introduce products containing glycolic acid and other

Introducing the CLARISONIC™ Skin Care Brush – The New Wave to Clear Skin

Pacific Bioscience Laboratories, Inc., Philadelphia, PA, the Creators of the Sonicare® Toothbrush, bring the benefits of Sonic Oscillation Technology to skincare by unveiling the new CLARISONIC™ Skin Care Brush, the first sonic technology skincare product featuring a proprietary dual action oscillating brush system. CLARISONIC deeply cleanses and clarifies the skin and
can conveniently be incorporated into existing office procedures. In-practice and at-home, it provides gentle pre-treatment cleansing, daily skin health maintenance, and potentially enhances therapeutic response. The brush was introduced to more than 3,000 plastic surgeons, dermatologists, nurses, and other skincare professionals at Plastic Surgery 2004, held in Philadelphia in October.

The CLARISONIC Skin Care Brush gently and effectively cleans the skin better than manual cleansing. The brush oscillating motion works with the skin, not against it, by flexing the pores to effectively deep clean the skin. “Sonic technology offers a new method for skin cleansing. This allows for improved hygiene and smoothness in a manner which is gentle to the skin, said Zoe D. Draelos, M.D., of Dermatology Consulting Services in Highpoint, NC. The sonic technology of the CLARISONIC works synergistically with the natural elasticity of the skin to provide gentle daily cleansing as part of a total skincare routine.
