The Melanage Skin Lightening System, which contains skin brightening ingredients, hydroquinone, anti-oxidants and Vitamin A, causes simultaneous melanin inhibition with peeling and allows treatment of higher Fitzpatrick Types. Until now, there have been very few effective treatments for hyperpigmentation, melasma, and deep pigment issues, especially for patients with Fitzpatrick Skin types IV - VI.

Most lasers and light technologies on the market today do not safely treat dark skin. Melanage has been introduced to treat melasma, hyperpigmentation, and pigmented blemishes on all skin types, including type VI.
